Our friends recently left the cold waters of the Ohio River for a quick visit to Florida and the Indian River and told us all about it. What a gorgeous location, just south of Daytona Beach in New Smyrna Beach. While they didn't have time to kayak, they did get out in the water to gather oysters and clams.....what an amazing adventure!! They also participated in the surprise 70th birthday party for Captain Bill at a small rustic "Yacht Club" cobbled together from what appears to be driftwood and other river/ocean leftovers from the Indian River. As they told us, "You will never meet better people then Captain Bill and his friends...."
