The Spread of Toxic Algae

Here in southwest Ohio we have felt the scourge of the toxic algae. Last year the Ohio River was adversely affected, as were many inland lakes (ie Harsha Lake). Timing is of the essence on resolving this problem before we kill-off all of our fresh water supplies, as well as the habitats surrounding such.  Let's keep pushing our political and industry leaders to protect our environment before it's too late

  1. Very concerning. Let's hope some immediate resolution can be found soon, especially as it's growing in fresh water! Has anybody found a way to resolve this? How can the toxic algae be removed without leaving long-lasting effects on the water? Then maybe immediate action can be taken.
